Our services

Our services are based on our three-pillar approach

Making Human Rights accessible

Acting in a systemic and interdisciplinary way

Focusing on sustainability and impact

This approach is an integral part of all the products we offer across three areas.

Consulting

The implementation of human rights is increasingly expected as a matter of course across ever more sectors — whether in business, public institutions, or civil society organizations. On the one hand, they must ensure that their internal structures and processes comply with human rights standards. On the other hand, their activities have concrete impacts on individuals, groups, and the environment.

We support organizations and companies in shaping human rights-based change processes by providing specialized expertise and systemic process knowledge. This is reflected in our team: human rights expertise and organizational expertise are intertwined and applied in a practical manner.

What matters to us here is that human rights learning means far more than mere knowledge acquisition. Human rights analytical skills – "looking at an issue through the human rights lens" – and project management competence are equally important, as is the reflection on attitudes and values in light of human rights. These are central to a professional human rights approach.

We are also active in academic teaching, where we impart scientific/academic competencies in a practice-oriented way across a range of thematic areas – from introductions to human rights for non-lawyers to accompanying scientific and artistic projects.

    Lectures & Keynotes

We give academic talks, public lectures, and keynotes, and take part in panel discussions on human rights topics. We are convinced that human rights form the indispensable foundation for a good life – and we want to show a broad public how they - functioning basically as "traffic rules" - help prevent violations and abuses, contribute to balancing the diverse and often conflicting interests within a society, and thereby foster a peaceful society. Once again, our mission: we are doing our part in the sustainable transformation of the world towards "Equal dignity for all."

In addition, we give presentations on more specialised topics: human rights and policing, human rights-based approaches to development, human rights in a business context, monitoring places of detention, art and human rights, and the climate crisis and human rights.
